| The New Jersey Pool Managers Association will be hosting a NSPF CPO® course at the Grange Hall – Radburn in Fair Lawn, NJ. The host site in Radburn is located at 29-20 Fair Lawn Avenue, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410. New Jersey State bathing regulations require a certified pool operator for swimming pools. The course will be held on four evenings Monday June 14, Wednesday June 16, Monday June 21, and Wednesday June 23, 2010. Each class will be 6 PM till 10 PM. For those currently certified as a CPO® and expire after June 7th, 2010, contact the instructors for new recertification process. The deadline for paid registrations is May 22, 2010 and there is limited space. There are no walk-ins on the day of the first class. For NJPMA member facilities, the cost of the class is $225. Non NJPMA staff must pay $300. Personal checks, money orders, and vouchers are acceptable with the course invoice form. No credit cards. Complete student information is needed as noted on the posted invoice. Materials will be sent to each student when paid registration is received. Those students who enroll in the optional Primer class, which is fulfilled online and is the equivalent of the first two evening classes of June 14 & 16, will need to enroll by May 8th in order to receive texts and complete class requirements. For NJPMA member pools, the online Primer is $100 plus $175 (for the final two classes June 21, & 23). For Non-NJPMA member pools, the online Primer is $150 plus $200 (for the final two classes June 21, & 23). The online Primer covers the first half of the course. The online Primer requires text work, online lessons, and a series of completed evaluations. A completion certificate must be presented to the Fusion class instructors, Ray Roig and Herb Reinert, at the beginning of the third class June 21st. All students must have photo ID, and a calculator in their first class.
