|  The New Jersey Pool Managers Association will be hosting two NSPF CPO® Certification courses at the Holiday Inn in Hasbrouck Heights. One weekend course in March, 2012 and one course in June 2012 on weekday evenings. Registration forms are found at the end of this statement for either the March or June course. The course location is:Holiday Inn - Hasbrouck Heights283 Route 17 SouthHasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604. This course is for new CPO’s as well as CPO’s who must recertify. Recertifying CPO’s must complete the online Primer course and may take the final exam before their five year expiration date. Further information below. The date courses will be held on one weekend, March 24 & 25, 2012 from 8 AM till4:00 PM. or four evenings, June 11, 13, 18, 20, 2012 from 6 PM till 10 PM. The deadline for paid registrations is March 14, 2012 for the March class and June 1, 2012 for the June class. There are no walk-ins on the day of the first class. For NJPMA member facilities, the cost of the class is $225. NonNJPMA facilities must pay $300. Personal checks, money orders, and vouchers are acceptable with the course invoice form. No credit cards. Complete student information is needed as noted on the posted invoice. CPO® text and PoolMath workbook will be sent to each student when paid registration is received. New and recertifying students who enroll in the optional Primer class will need to enroll by February 12th for the March class or May 15th for the June class in order to complete class requirements. For NJPMA member pools, the online Primer is $100 plus $175 (for the final class of March 20) and nonNJPMA member the online Primer is $150 plus $200. The online Primer is a review of all 18 chapters of the CPO® textbook . The online Primer requires text work, eight online lessons, and a series of evaluations. Upon completion, the Primer student needs to attend the second day of the weekend class or the last two evenings classes of the weekday class. Early registration is required in order for the Primer student to receive class materials and passwords. A completion certificate must be presented to the Fusion class instructors, Ray Roig and Herb Reinert, at the beginning of the second class March 25th (weekend class) or the beginning of the third class June 18th (weekday class). If a current CPO is recertifying, proof of current CPO® must be included with the Primer registration and final exam. Recertifying CPO fee is $195 (NJPMA) and $225 (non-NJPMA) and includes the Primer costs, new text book, and exam fees. All students must have photo ID, and a calculator for their first class.
